Yesterday I posted my thoughts on the new Batman film The Dark Knight, as I said my expectations were high, but I was trying to put things in perspective so not to build it up beyond reason.
Today has seen a plethora of news on the film, most notably the first official review by Rolling Stone magazine, click here to read (There is a very minor spoiler). I am always dubious with American reviews, it seems every news outlet is owned by the same company as a studio, the review is a positive one and would seem to dispel the fears of poor action scenes that were evident in Batman Begins. The last line of the review “It’s full of surprises you don’t see coming. And just try to get it out of your dreams” has got me all excited again!!
The release here in the UK has also moved closer by a day ,Imax tickets are selling out fast, I guess I will have to ask the boss for another day off.
